These posters that I made were for the visual and performing department at Merrimack College. They were posted around the school while some were made into small postcards that went to incoming students that came for either open house or accepted students day. The other ones went on the tv's that were all over the school so people that were passing by screens could look up real quick and see the ad for the event that was happening. I created each poster based on what type of event they were. Each poster has been created to be eye catching and get the point across to people quickly as they are passing by. I made these posters as an internship throughout my senior year of college.
Process:
Making each of these posters was a lot of work. They had to be perfect. Every little detail counts on these, from lining up every picture to text, to making sure they looked good on screen and print so the sizing was not too big or small. The important information was getting across to people while still looking dynamic and clean. Some took longer than others depending on how much information was on the posters but since the basic layout was already together it was not too bad.
